| Kingdom Protoctista consists of microorganisms with nucleated
cells and their immediate ancestors. This group includes protozoa (e.g.,
Amoeba, Euglena, Paramecium, etc.), all algae (e.g., seaweeds, diatoms,
dinoflagellates, etc.), and slime molds. |
